Slowly as businesses open and COVID restrictions start to let up we are looking and working towards what will be a new normal. Our lifestyle, routines, and fashion trends will all be an adjustment. Here are just a few trends that will be part of our new routine.
- Business Up Top, Comfy on the Bottom:
As the video calls and meetings increase we want to be as comfortable as possible. With that being said, we don’t want to be jumping on a 9am call with our Vice President in our jammies. The increasing trend of business up top and comfort on the bottom is a trend that we hope is here to stay! - Pulled back hair:
Ponytail, messy buns, side braids, chic pigtails it is all part of the pulled back hair trend. Whether we like it or not it might be the new necessity. Our roots haven’t been done in months, our lob is turning into a weird mid length blunt cut, and yes there’s no denying that white patch is definitely all grey hair. Our advice? We all want one piece of clothing that does it all. Especially after COVID we want a piece of clothing that makes us feel better even if we are not physically seeing anyone. We dress up for us because when you look good, you feel good! Grab that kimono style and dress up those leggings and sandals. Social distancing means we can still take a walk. Self Care Trend:Who knew quarantine would be so exhausting? We all need a mental break from the anxiety, stress, and anguish that COVID has brought on. We know that our positivity can greatly impact our day but sometimes you just need a little self care for those days that are extra difficult. This year we are going to see an increase in self care products including skincare, comfy clothes, journals etc. We want to make sure that you are giving yourselves all a much needed day off. Even if it is just a 15 minute bath with candles, listening to your favourite music, mediating, or curling up with a good book. Self care and rest is essential for quarantine survival.
